Our Vision
At Pampered Horse Blanket Cleaning our vision is to help preserve your blankets to last. That will also help with your horses well being, a clean blanket well protect your horses skin. We use echo friendly soap that is free of dyes, perfumes, gentle on the blankets and helps with their longevity.
Our Services
We offer a range of services not only do we clean blankets but also saddle pads, leg wraps, leg quilts, barn rags, and anything else to do with horse clothing. We also make sure all Velcro is free of hair before bagging and returning. Pampered Horse will make sure all repairs are done with the proper material, cordura will be used for all repairs (that's what your blankets are made out of) any broken buckles or clasps will be replaced with new ones. We also make our own hind leg straps with heavy duty elastic at your request. We can also apply a water repellent, different from water proofing which is already built into the cordura. Water repellent is like waxing your car it helps wick the water off your blanket.
Our History
I started the business because finding somewhere to wash my own blankets was almost impossible and having clean blankets for my horses was very important to me. I was washing my own blankets in my home washer until everything smelled like horse so 2009 I bought a Speed Queen Washer Extractor and had it specially programed with 9 different cycles I could choose from depending on what was being cleaned. It uses very little water and about 2 tablespoons of soap. That Speed Queen is still my main washer and going strong.
I have been sewing since 1973 and can put anything back together. The go to machine is my Juki a great work horse in itself.
